Every pregnancy is different, and the exercises that will suit your body and pregnancy will differ from someone else. As you move through the trimesters you will need to change your training to suit your growing bump and prepare for labour.

There is a long list of benefits to exercising throughout pregnancy. These include an easier labour, a quicker recovery post birth, a healthier and less complicated pregnancy, less aches and pains, improved sleep and a quicker return to exercise post birth.

Together we will put together a plan that will help you remain strong throughout pregnancy and return to exercise once your little one arrives.

Hi, I'm Ali. I'm passionate about health and fitness and want to provide you with the best personal training experience available. That's why when you train with me, there are no premade programs or unrealistic expectations. All of my programs and workouts are tailored to your needs and goals. Along with personalised nutritional advice and detailed screening before exercise to reduce the risk of injury. All of this helps maximise your efforts. I'm driven to help you get results but I'm also here to look after you and make it enjoyable along the way!

If you are researching pre and post natal training, the likelihood is that you are very aware of all the benefits. An easier birth, less likelihood of complications throughout pregnancy, a reduction in aches and pains as your bump grows and a quicker recovery once your little one arrives are just some of the main benefits. But no matter if you have been training for years or are new to exercise, training while you are pregnant, or have recently given birth can feel daunting.

Throughout your pregnancy your training will need to adapt to your growing bump, changing centre of gravity, and any new aches, pains or tightness. Additionally, as the months pass your energy levels with change and you may have medical conditions to take into consideration. As you get nearer your due date you can also prepare your body and pelvic floor for childbirth. Plus everything you do throughout your pregnancy will be building the foundation for starting your life as a strong healthy mum.

You will be given 1-2-1 training throughout your pregnancy and exercises modified along the way.

I offer a 30-minute free consultation. This is so we can learn more about each other and I can find out more about your individual fitness needs and goals.

After a free consultation, I will put together a training plan based on your goals and how often you can train. This will make getting on the right track quicker and easier.

What package or sessions are right for me?

You can get started with my Introductory offer, which includes everything you need to get on the right track. After you have completed my Introductory package you can then buy session packages that include blocks of 5, 10 or 20 sessions at a time. The more sessions you buy at once the more you save.

How many times per week should you meet with a personal trainer?

The number of sessions with a personal trainer really depends on a number of factors, including your budget, availability, and need for accountability. On average, most clients meet with their fitness instructors for one to three sessions per week (an average of twice).
